Glamour modeling is when a model is used to emphasize the subject, instead of the fashions or products endorsed, but glamour modeling has more expectations than regular modeling.   Glamour modeling is modeling in a way which is close to erotic. The meaning of the term "glamour" changed in the course of time. Now most people consider that glamour photography to be non-pornographic until it does not depict the sex acts. There are two opposite tendencies today that concern glamour modeling. One of them tends to be more revealing while the other one is more conservative.   The word glamour means: an air of compelling charm, romance, and excitement, especially when delusively alluring and photographer can bring this out in a model in many ways that is still considered to be glamour modeling.   Glamour modeling can be portrayed on the runway or in print, and can be see in many forms.   In print, glamour modeling can reflect movement in the photo as well as portrait images.   Today, nude or semi-nude glamour pictures models appear in soft-core publications like Playboy, Perfect 10, or in the pages of European tabloid newspapers; however, glamour photography does not have to include nudity as evidenced today by the many lad magazines.   Glamour modeling can also include modeling in a bikini, sexy outfits and lingerie modeling and these photos can be used for calendars, posters, and other pin-up girl products. You can't pick up a car magazine without seeing a babe by the car or truck.  
In the 1940's, clothed "pin-up" pictures were "glamour." Many celebrities were featured in pin-up poses showing them in swimsuits.   Then in the 1950's and early 1960's glamour modeling started to produce glamour images with partial nudity.   Nowadays, the standards of glamour modeling have changed over time, reflecting changes in social mores.   Erica Campbell and Patricia Ford are a couple examples of well known glamour models that have done very well in the field of glamour modeling.
