I live in B-town, New Jersey. I am originally from Newark, New Jersey. My family is very small; It was just me and my sister and me growing up. I moved to Belmar right after graduating from high school to go to college and haven’t looked back but it hasnt been easy either.
I have a two year old son who is a handful. His name is Jaren. He is my world and I would do anything for him. He is two years old.
I love to travel. During college I had to opportunity to study abroad in Madrid, Spain, and since then I’ve wanted to see the whole world. I think I went to graduate school specifically to get a chance study abroad again when I went to Mexico City. Those both were really great experiences and some of the most fun times of my life!
After being out of school for four years I decided to go get my GED. I obtained that in 2001 and not long after put a plan in action to pursue my dreams. I wanted to be sure medical was a field I really wanted to be in and not waste my time, so I enrolled into a school to become a medical assistant. After completed the program I took my exam and became a Registered Medical Assistant. While in school I was comfortable, but once I got in the field and was working with different people everyday and enjoying it I new this was for me, and being a nurse was gone be easy. Year after year I kept telling myself I was gone register for college and become a nurse but I had so many hurdles in my way and not enough supportive people in my life. I was always trying to make everyone else happy instead of worrying about what’s best for my son and me. During the summer of 2008 I really put some thought into this going back to school and realized enough was enough. I was not gone let anyone or anything stand in the way of my dreams.
In my free time I enjoy basically living. What makes me happy is making and keeping my son happy. I try to do as much as possible with him. If I’am not with him I’am either reading a book or sleeping or listeing...
