Introduction
Terrorism is a different type of violence. The threat of terrorism is always there, and an attack can occur at any given time. A terrorist attacks have been the event that has sparked the transition of peace to war. Fighting terrorism is an issue to think about in all military plans and operations. Fighting terrorism requires constant awareness; it is a necessary practice for military operation. Guiding and establishing a organize program to fight terrorism, includes defensive and protecting actions and incident response planning. This plan can be found in Joint Publication 3-07.2 (1993). Terrorism is a criminal offense under almost every national or international official code. There are few acts of terrorism that are forbidden in war as they are in times of peace.
TERRORISM DEFINED
Terrorism is defined as, "the calculated use of violence or the threat of violence to inculcate fear; intended to coerce or to intimidate governments or societies in the pursuit of goals that are generally political, religious, or ideological." This definition was cautiously though through to tell between between terrorism and other kinds of violence. The act of terrorism is a clear and self-governing of the cause that motivates it. People use terrorist violence in the name of many causes. Think of any crime and label it as terrorism is wrong. Terrorism is a precise kind of violence. Terrorism is calculated. Terrorists know what they are doing. Their selection of a target is well planned and normal. They know the outcome they search for. Terrorist violence is neither impulsive nor accidental. Terrorism is intended to create fear; by implication, that fear is engendered in someone other than the victim. In other words, terrorism is a emotional act conducted for its shock on its’ viewers.
