The story of Romeo and Juliet is about two families that have been in a long and bitter feud for many years. The play starts with a fight between the Montague’s and the Capulet’s, it ends with Prince threatening that if it happens again, the people involved, will be killed. Romeo is obsessed with Rosaline at this point, He and Mercutio decide to go to this party which is held by the Capulet’s, for hope to see Rosaline. At the ball, Romeo sets his eyes upon Juliet, where they both fall instantly in love with each other. Tybalt sees Romeo at the party and intends to fight with him but Lord Capulet stops him as to not spoil the ball Tybalt stabs Mercutio leaving him mortally wounded. Mercutio falls down dead. Romeo swears he will have revenge and goes after Tybalt, when he finds him; he kills him and then returns to Juliet where he spends what he knows as his last night with her. In the morning Romeo realizes he must leave but Juliet convinces him that it is still night and he must stay, Romeo agrees and says he would die for her rather than be banned for life; Juliet decides she does not want him dead and tells him to leave. He leaves Verona and goes away to live in Mantua, a place not too far away from Verona. Friar Lawrence decides to create a plan that will get Romeo and Juliet together again, he gives Juliet a potion that will make her act dead and then a letter is sent to Romeo telling him the plan but before the letter reaches him he gets the mistaken message so he goes to see her. When Romeo arrives to the tomb Juliet was placed in, she is meant to awake, and they can be reunited, but he arrives early to get a poison to kill himself. After he has taken the poison, Juliet awakes and see’s Romeo is dead and stabs herself. With the death of the two of them, the feud is ended and the families get along in harmony.
