Are you a senior in worried about your plans after high school? How will you accomplish your goals? The Vassar High School Senior Project offers an opportunity to guide seniors every step of the way. The project will help students sort their goals by reflecting on past experiences that shaped them. Through self-reflection this paper will investigate the experiences I have had in my lifetime, discuss my current plans, and finally evaluate my goals for the future.
Now that I am a senior in high school I have learned that I am a fun, sometimes shy, caring person. My career pathways which are Arts and Communications and Health Services, seem to prove that. The pathway Arts and Communications include careers related to the humanities and the performing visual literary and media arts. The other career pathway I have to choose from is Health Services. Health Services are careers based on the promotion of health as well as the treatment of injuries, conditions, and disease. Throughout high school I have taken several tests to learn more about my skills and personality. I loved taking the quizzes to pick up any information about myself. The tests include: My Hartman Youth Personality Profile, My Learning Style, My Hemispheric Preference, My Multiple Intelligence, The Explore Test, The Plan Test, and the ASVAB Test.
The Hartman Youth Personality Profile test results explained that my color (yellow) means that I am motivated by fun. Some characteristics of fun are being playful, wanting to be the center of attention, forgetfulness, loudness, or rudeness. I just recently retook this test and my results have changed. I am now motivated by (blue), or intimacy. This demonstrates that now I am more caring, well behaved, good mannered, respectful, creative, loving my life and the people in it.
