Renaissance

Introduction
Art is a product or process of creatively and willfully arranging elements in a way that appeals to the emotions and senses, especially beauty. It creates beauty, as it is the trumpeting fashion, vanguard of taste before it actually exists and it is often taken to be the measure of quality for art.
The word ‘art’ most often refers to visual arts that defined the arrangement of colours, forms and other elements for example painting, sculpture and printmaking. However, ‘the arts’ may also include a diverse range of creations, human activities, and mode of expression, including music and literature. By having these creations and human activities, they help us to stimulate thoughts and emotions intentionally.
There is an instinct that forces the human being to create a better society or a more beautiful world. For that reason, human being always wants to attain new ways to reflect or express the society where they belong. Hence, art has experienced many different styles of movements starting from Prehistoric Art; Art of the Roman Empire; Gothic Art; Renaissance; Baroque and Rococo; Neoclassicism and Romanticism; Realism; Impressionism; Post-Impressionism; Symbolism and Expressionism etc as the world is changing.

Therefore, in this report I am going to express my own personal feeling and point of view to two art movements, “Renaissance and Impressionism” freely by writing the backgrounds and characteristics for both movements. I am also going to analyze the features of several paintings, which inspired me tremendously. Last but not least, I will confer whether Impressionist broke the idea of Renaissance consciously or unconsciously followed by a conclusion at the end.
