Organizational Behavior (OB) what is about?
Before moving to book terms I think about OB as two separate words such as: behavior and company or organization. Behavior is how person behaves or reacts in different situations. It can be stressful, under control, emotional, disrespectful and etc. Company or organization is place where people have common goals and should be motivated to do great job and success for the company. If we put those two words together then OB in a business means social science. It analyses social interactions and observes performance appraisals. For example, how does employees or specific employer doing in a business? Is he/she motivated at work, presents good communication skills, leaderships.
What are my goals in this class?
I want to make sure that my future knowledge on that subject is going to be use in practice. In other words, I do not want to learn just theory about OB, I want to make sure that I see how do I need to use it in my future own business. So, My personal goal is understand how can use in right way my future knowledge about OB.
What are my educational goals? My personal and educational goals are going together. My educational goals were always about learning. If I leave from classroom with “A” grade but in the end I learn nothing, this is failed of my educational goal.
What problems would you like to answer in OB field?
I want to know what is the right way to motivate your team in a business. Some people are motivated by money; some by simple words do your best. So, How can I know what everyone is going to accept and work hard for my company.
What are my personal goals?
I want to achieve several goals in my future. There are education, sport, job and family. I will try to do my best to achieve high standards in each goal. For example for education, I want to do at least one Phd degree.
