As A Nurse

Important roles as a nurse in the society

As a nurse I play three very important roles in our government, namely:
    • Being a nurse
    • An honest taxpayer
    • And a law-abiding citizen

Our government today is faced by various problems by our community. Ranging from poverty to overpopulation to political conflicts and community health problems. As a nurse I could in my own little way help nurse the sick (elaborate more on a nurse’s job) etc. which would greatly help the government’s community health problems. Furthermore, I too, am involved in various community services especially to those who were greatly affected by calamities and problems as such.

Not only do I play a role as a nurse, but my job also enables(wrong term) me a taxpayer, which is also crucial to our government. As a employee, I am proud to say that I am an honest taxpayer. For unlike most businessmen and actors, who usually understate income and falsify public documents; are indeed running away(wrong idiom/preposition) from their obligations to the government. I believe that this should not be the case for what   we give to the government will be returned to us in forms of better facilities and roads, etc. that is, if the government would do so and not keep the money for themselves. But of course, I am out of that. My role is to pay my tax in accordance to the salary I earn, and theirs is to use that money from the tax for the betterment of the citizens’ lives.

And lastly, I play the role of a law-abiding citizen. I make sure I obey the rules in which the government has set up for us.

I may only be playing these roles, but little might people think about these, in a way these roles could help make and break a government. And since I am on the positive side, I know I am doing our government well.
