Negative Effects of Violent Video Games As one looks into today’s society, he can notice the huge negative influence that violent video games have made on the players. Many times people neglect or brush off the negative aspects of violent video gaming which in result could end up very dangerous. The degradation of society has come down a very great extent at a rapid pace. Many parents allow their teens to play violent video games, without paying much attention to what harm it could bring. Although one may not blame the media or specifically violent video games for this, but the violence definitely attributes to the downslide (Anderson, 62). Not all people know what exactly happens after a player plays excessively, but research shows the different dangers in brings. The negative effects of violent video games are social isolation, aggressive behavior, and poor academic achievement. Many times people can ignore these nuances as a coincidence. However, with the support of research, studies, and polls these effects cannot be just coincidences, the connection is clearly visible. The three negative effects mentioned were social isolation, violent behavior, and poor academic achievement. Society must take care of these issues, before this becomes a nationwide problem.
