Liquid “Submersion” Cooling Experiment
Computers have shaped my life in countless ways. Ever since my childhood, the fascination with computers was strong. Many times I could be found tinkering with my fathers old Compaq computer, taking it apart and learning the “In's and outs” of the hardware and software. I was very interested in computer hardware, and how all the intricate and precise actions that needed to take place, all came together like clockwork, all the components like a cog in a great clockwork masterpiece. When I was employed as an intern with Danskjold Computer Repair, I learned more and more about the field, and how I could benefit my local community with computer repairs. I was able to help all my family members with their computer issues, which was greatly appreciated by them. My aunt even asked me to repair one of her business's computers, which had corrupted data, and had received the dreaded “blue screen of death”. Without my help, my aunts business would have been in serious danger.
Along with helping my family and others in my community with their computer problems, I am also able to build computers for myself. I am currently active in the world of virtual media and entertainment. I employ all of the newest technology and computer advancements to increase the power and over-all excellence of my custom built computer. This “rig”, as it would be referred to by the computer gaming community, was optimally designed by myself to offer ample air-flow and cooling, along with physical attractiveness such as blazing bright green LED's. My skill in building and repairing computers has come a long way, and for this reason I intend to tap my technological skills and apply them to a project that may further advance the expanding world of computers.
