High School
Jordon Batts Prof. Jody Stone Comm. 1 Personal Memoir 12-04-08 High School When I first enetered Bayside High School I thought I was going to be stuck there for an eternity. Four and half years later, here I am in Community College working to get my AA. However, it only seems like yesterday I first opened those double doors to high school. It gave me plenty of memories that I will carry with me the rest of my life. Freshman year was a pretty decent year in my eyes. I was never picked on by any other student unlike the rumors you hear when you first enter high school. I had fairly easy classes and I just seemed to breeze right through it all. I was also pretty active that year as in attending sporting events and overall supporting our team and school. Throughout school I was a B student and my freshman year I managed to maintain that. By the end of the year I was ready to go to tenth grade unrealzing how fast one year of the faithful four had gone by. Into tenth grade I went. Indeed swimming is the hardest sport I’ve done but in the end it was a good time and it really got me in shape, no complaints there what so ever. I became more bored with school activities and became less involved throughout school. Initially I just focused on what work had to be done and keeping tabs with all my friends at the same time. In the end it couldn’t work out perfectly. I slipped just a little bit and sacrificed taking some C grades for some of classes while also maintain my usually B average. Yet again I was for eleventh grade and not even realizing how actually close I was to my graduation and final year. Junior year had to be my most regretful year. The first half of the year wasn’t too bad I...
