For this essay I decided to write about the Pros and Cons of several popular diet plans.

While some eating plans are unhealthy over the long term, a sound eating and exercising

plan can help a person in their struggle with obesity.

The first diet and exercise plan and main point that I would like to talk about is the

Body-for-Life Eating and exercise plan. The main principles of the Body-for-Life eating

and exercise Plan is that it is not a diet, but a lifestyle change. The program focus’s on

portion control and not on weighing or measuring your food or by counting calories

“cheat day” once a week. On this cheat day you are encouraged to eat whatever you want

to all day long, having a cheat day helps to keep food cravings under control and also

helps a person to keep to the eating plan as you only have to eat healthy 6 days out of the

week, another reason for the cheat day is psychological, it goes along with the idea that if

you eat how you used to eat to get into the shape that...
