Energy Resource Plan

We use energy as a source in our everyday lives.   From warming our homes in the winter and cooling our homes in the summer, to grow and cook our food, and to power various forms of transportation are all different conveniences that requires a usage of a supply of energy.   According to Wiley Plus, in the United States, industry uses 42% of the nation’s total energy, buildings such as homes and offices consume 33%, and transportation at roughly 25%.   That is basically all of the energy of the nations with none left for any other conveniences.   The demand for energy will continue to increase because of the increasing human population.   Sources such as energy conservation and energy efficiency are the most promising because they save energy for future use and buy us time to explore new energy alternatives.   Therefore, we use resources that are renewable and nonrenewable to help with that particular task.
A nonrenewable resource is a source that exists in finite amounts and thus cannot be replenished.   Some examples of nonrenewable resource are fossil fuels and metals.   Renewable, on the other hand, are materials that can be replaced through natural processes.   A few examples of renewable resources would be solar energy and trees.   Being that nonrenewable resources are limited, we must turn to alternative sources rather than deplete the entire supply for future generations.   However, renewable resources can be depleted if drawn down more rapidly than nature can build back up.
A few things that we as a community can do to help conserve energy and help the environment is use less energy.   By reducing the amount of electricity in the home, office, or elsewhere can tremendously help the amount of energy we use everyday.   Another way to help reduce the amount of energy we use is to invest in energy-efficient technologies.   The average household spends way more than enough to maintain utility bills.   Even...
