Chris, lean English 1, period 5 October 29, 2007 Have you ever liked doing something so much, you never want to stop doing it? I had this feeling two years ago when I started playing football. As a child I had played flag football and didn’t find it to be very fun. Then the next year I started playing soccer. I played soccer from second grade until sixth grade but it still wasn’t the sport for me. In seventh grade some of my friends were talking about playing football and it sounded fun. When it came time to sign up for football I did. I went in to my first day of practice not knowing what to even do. I thought that defense was when you had the ball, but they taught me fast. After that first practice I was in love with the sport. This was the perfect sport for me. Football had everything in it. You could hit people, block people, catch the ball, kick the ball, and much more. Through all the games, practices, and watching game film, you gain many friendships witch help you in sports and in school. This season was the best season ever. We made it to the playoffs were we beat are rival team the outlaws by a field goal and ended up at the national championships in Tucson Arizona. At the end of the national championships we had placed fifth in the nation. I had finally found a sport to call my own and I still play for the school (we are undefended) witch I love and live for. I plan to continue playing football and maybe will try to play in college and maybe beyond if I get a chance to.
