1. The causes of stress in Jennifer’s life includes her one hour commute to work each day, the stress of wanting to start a family but miscarried. She is feeling pressured by Antonio’s parents because they keep asking when she will be expecting.   Stress of her mother dying, and her father’s deteriorating health, and feels bad for having to put her father in a nursing home against his wishes.   At work Jennifer stresses that she might let somebody down, and feels the pressure of everyone counting on her. This would impact her and make her believe that she needs to focus on that and make her husband’s parents happy because she does not like when she lets people down. All of her stressors are affecting her self-esteem because she is not feeling good about herself when she feels as though she cannot make her co-workers happy and feels she is incapable of having a child that she has been trying so hard to get.
3. Jennifer’s situation can be adjusted by opening up to her in-laws and letting them know that she needs to focus on her health and work, then she will think about having kids. She could talk to her dad...
