Developing Good Business Sense

The operating system of three companies that is most familiar is that of McDonald’s, Krispy Kreams and FedEx. The operation system that correlates with all the selected businesses is labor cost. Each one of these businesses has to budget their labor costs. What the considerations are things like the number of employees needed to produce a given quantity of output, the amount each employee must be paid depending on skills, the knowledge, and experience they may have and the health and insurance benefits for each employee. I feel this is a major priority when focusing on business operations as well as material management. These operations pertain to all three companies selected and include the nature of each company.
The employees are not so much different they do have a lot of similarities. Dealing with McDonalds and the way their employees are organized the employees are trained to present the inventory, provide high-quality customer service and distributing goods and services to customers. It’s the same thing with the employees at Krispy Kreams one of there operations are designed to present the inventory and provide superior customer service. Now FedEx is a little different from these other two companies. FedEx is more focused on the flow of the input and outputs between the company its employees.
The managers in the operations are designated with a practice of operations used to incessantly improve the production process, increase the quality of products, and help companies lower their operating costs.
The main kind of operations and materials management cost companies have are operational cost, distribution cost, inventory cost and labor cost which is one of the larges cost with businesses. These cost are all necessities the almost every business in today’s world.
