The global computer industry has gone thru several elapses of decline this past decade because it has faced several periods of recession in areas of Europe and the Asia-Pacific.   As the computer industry moves as predicted it will generate steady growth rates for its forecasted period.   One of the main reasons why the global market is expected to grow has been the increasing demand for the internet.   The innovation and constant upgrading in the computer industry ultimately leads to an increase in sales, and above that there is a growing demand for computerization in various sectors such as the medical and educational segments.   The two top companies that dominate the computer market in the United States and Europe are HP and Dell (“Global – Computer Hardware Datamonitor” 2005).
