Creative Writing - Random Essay
A long time ago, in the land of Sparta, Kratos, a descendant from the Olympian God-race, had pledged to the Gods to fight a war for Sparta. In return, he hoped to rid himself from his haunting nightmares of his entire family taken before his eyes by Hades, God of the Underworld. Kratos was the Olympian name for a hawk, as his body consisted of hawk legs and head, his arms and body were constructed from pure Spartan muscle, but with the mind of a warrior. He had a chain in each hand connected with a sword at the end of each chain that could slice up his enemies from a distance by releasing and swinging the chains around, having the swords hit and inflict an immense amount of damage to anything on impact.
On this day, the evil God Morpheus had called upon Persia to destroy Sparta with an unthinkable evil unleashed on the city of Attica. Kratos stood upon the walls of the fortress as the Persian ships fired cannonballs. Quickly, thousands of Persian troops broke through the shores of Attica and were approaching the walls. Kratos stood tight as he defended himself against forthcoming Persian soldiers. Though Kratos only found a minor satisfaction in the heat of battle, his skills improved slowly as he killed more and more Persians. Suddenly, a cannonball hit the wall close to Kratos and he fell down into one of the storage rooms where Spartan soldiers were fighting off some Persians. Kratos released his chains and slaughtered the Persians like animals killing everyone in sight, unfortunately including a few of his allied men. He headed towards the gates and was about to open them as a cave monster broke through and tried to slam a pillar onto Kratos, but he swiftly dodged to the right and swung his chains around the beasts legs and pulled with all his might as the beast trembled upon the ground.
