Business Communication

I interviewed William Hernandez, owner of All Stars Desert Toy Rentals, LLC.   William explained to me that with the fall in the economy and banks becoming very strict with whom they are lending money to, he decided to start a business renting out ATV’S and jet skis.   He figured that since many people would not qualify to purchase there own toys that he could start this business that allows people to rent the equipment to go riding at the Dunes or jet ski and keep cool in the 110 degree weather in Arizona The equipment is rented out for hours of fun for a very low price and the client never has to worry about a monthly payment on there half.  
It is very important for a business owner to understand and be affiliated with there product.   William loves to ride ATV’S and Jet Skis so because of his knowledge with his product he is able to go out and market his product while having fun.   Word of mouth advertising is the best and having the right skills to communicate to clients is a necessity.   Also being educated on your product is going to help with a business, knowing the laws and safety guidelines are a necessity, know about permits, age, licensing, and where a person is allowed to ride legally is vital knowledge to know, and understand exactly how the product works is going to have a big impact for return business.  
There is a lot of responsibility when operating a successful business and duties differ from day to day.   Knowing how to prioritize work is going to make things run smoothly and keeping a routine is going to help if a problem were ever to arise.   Weekends are William’s busiest days especially long weekends because of holidays which brings in more clientele, because that is when people are off of work and want to enjoy the outdoors.
