LEIGH RAMBLERS TOURNAMENT 2008/9
Dear Manager,
Your team are invited to take part in the Leigh Ramblers Mini & 11-a-Side Soccer Tournament taking place over the weekend of the 9th & 10th May.
All teams are put into groups of a similar standard and we hope that you can take part in what has shown itself to be a very enjoyable weekend of football.
Refreshments and other activities will all be available at the tournament
Full details of fixtures will be available on the day.
To make sure of your place please return the attached slip, completed with all your details (in CAPITAL letters), along with your entrance fee.
Confirmation of receipt will be sent out, if an email address is included along with further tournament details later.
Mini Soccer: (U/7 - U/8). 2008/9 age groups:
• Teams will play in groups of an equal ability where possible and ALL players will receive a memento of the days play.
• There will be no winners or runners-up trophies, FA rules apply.
• Matches will be 7-mins each way.
Mini Soccer (U/9 - U/10). 2008/9 age groups:
• Teams will compete in either the Lions or Tigers competition.
• Each competition will consist of 2 groups of 4 teams, with the group winners contesting the final.
• Matches will be 7-mins each way.
11-a-Side (U/11’s, U/12's, U/13's, U/14's). 2008/9 age groups:
• Will be 3 groups of 4 teams if possible, with the winners of each group and best runner up meeting in the semi-finals.
u/15 & u/16 Ramblers teams will invite a tam to play a full game for a cup, if you would like to be considered to play please email your details
