1. Reason is cause of something and why has happened. I think there are two ways to define reason. Reason can be in a way of motivation, before we are starting to do something, we can ask ‘WHY do we have to do this’ and the other way can be analyzing the result and figuring out the cause.
2. Induction is defined from specific to general and it is mostly based on people’s experience and observations. In inductive reasoning, the process plays greater role than the conclusion, and the conclusion is made based on the information and evidences. For example, Gandi died, Picasso died, Davinci died therefore all the people are going to eventually die.
3. Deduction is opposite from induction which means it is described from general to specific and it is based on laws, rules and rights. In deductive reasoning, the conclusion is more important than the procedure. As an example, all human being die-> Ki bum is a human being-> therefore he will die.
4. Logic is something that is known for sure and can’t be accused. For example, earth is round, or water boils at 100 ℃. However reason is something that can be argued, for example if I say Toyota produces the best cars in the world, because of its fuel efficiency and suitable prices, than some people can disagree and can start an argument.
5. Emotion and reason represent the body and mind. Emotions help us to experience the joys and sorrows of life and find the ultimate purpose of our mortal existence through enquiry based upon reason.
