Summary
Albion Air is one of the main business airlines on the London-Glasgow route. The airline owns six planes which are all in use on the London-Glasgow route. The head office of the company is situated in Hertfordshire in the east of the United Kingdom.
Albion Air has to face several problems in different business areas. The management aroused a planning group under the direction of Mr Blair. The aim of the group, consisting of Mr Blair and five other members, is to analyse the problem of the airline and to give possible solutions and recommendations to the Management. The author bases this report on information published by the management.
The first step to give recommendations is to define the main problem of the company. With this problem can be the causes and effects detected and possible solutions gathered. In addition the best course of action has to be selected, which is evaluated due to a good considered criteria. The best course of action will be listed in an implementation plan together with a date of implementation. At the end the author presents conclusions and recommendations to the management of Albion Air.
The analysis of Albion Airs’ situation shows that the company faces one main problem. The airline has got a constant decrease of business class passengers.
