Causes of human health and diseases
Humans have faced diseases through history, from cavemen to humans now. Diseases have not gone away, in fact it had been growing ever since the first humans. Diseases did not decrease, many more popped up every year, and one good example is Cancer. Many factors cause human health and diseases such as Environmental factors, Genetic factors, and what people do to themselves.
Skin cancer is a good example of environmental factor. People, mostly teenagers like to have a dark tan, in which they lay in the open with skin glistening oil or a sunlight reflector to concentrate sunlight. Most people do not know that laying out too long in the open sunlight might cause skin cancer later in their lives. One type of skin cancer is cutaneous carcinomas. It occurs frequently to 40 years or older light-skinned people and people who are regularly exposed to sunlight such as farmers and sailors. It usually develops on the neck, face, or scalp. This type of skin cancer grows slowly and is noticed to be with a reddish base. It can be completely removed with surgical removal or radiation treatment. Another type of skin cancer is cutaneous melanomas. This type of cancer usually is more often in light-skinned people who rather get burned than getting a tan. People of any age can develop cutaneous melanomas. It is rather different from cutaneous carcinomas, cutaneous melanomas is caused by short time exposing to high-intensity sunlight. It usually develops on the skin of the trunk, back, or limbs. This type of cancer can also be completely cured with no serious harm, but only in the early faces. If cutaneous melanomas gets deeper into the skin, it becomes more difficult to treat, and a low survival rate.
