The Constitution Party

In this report I will address the Constitution party. I will go over the history, beliefs, laws, and what it stands for. I will also show you who the representatives are for the party, what they stand for, and where they are in this 2008 election. The purpose of this report is to give information to people who do not know about politics and to get a little more acquainted with a minor party.

The Constitution Party, in 1992, was originally called the U.S. Taxpayers Party. The U.S. Taxpayers Party was later , in 1999, changed to the Constitution Party in order to better reflect its ideas.

The Constitution Party believes in the Constitution and what it stands for. They believe that our forefathers mad e the laws for Americans in their time and for Americans in this time. The Constitution strongly champions the principles of government laid down by our Founding Fathers in the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution, principles which have been abandoned by our political establishment.(Constitution Party Org.) Unlike other parties the Constitution Party do not believe that their principles are outdated in any way, but instead are here to stay.

The Constitution Party is the only party which is completely pro-life, pro-gun, pro-American sovereignty and independence, and in high favor of a strong national defense. The party also opposes special rights for homosexuals and unlawful police laws. Since the party is religious, in the Bible, homosexuality is a sin and is bad, so the party looks down on homosexuality. “The Constitution Party gratefully acknowledge the blessing of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as Creator, Preserver and Ruler of the Universe and of these United States.
