The Person I Admire the Most Essay Example
The person I admire
There have been several people who have a great influence on my life but only one is a person I really admire- my mother. I admire my mother because of her morals, some of the obstacles she has overcome, and for all she has done for me in my life. She is simply different from all other parents. She is a psychologist. She works with people with special necessities and with children. She is a leader and not a follower and the difference is that as a leader and not a follower is dependable, supportive, and attentive. My mother was always there to help anyone no matter what it was. Hard work is part of her life, but still she is smiling all the time. Her life can be a good example of a person who suffered a lot, but never asked for help as asking for help is a symbol of weakness for her. She always advises me “Don’t feel helpless in life and try to live your life in a way that people who are related to you look at you with pride and respect”. She is a good and human person. She helps other people to solve their problems. In my opinion, her job is one of the hardest jobs, but she feels good… she enjoys a lot because she loves the feeling of being helpful…
My mother is a person who taught me how to live life without feeling helpless and with pride. She does such a wonderful job educating me to be a good person in life. I’ve learned from her that problems and sufferings are part of life and if they were not part of our life we wouldn’t know the real meaning of happiness. Whenever I feel sad or upset and even when I feel so happy I always talk with her just to share it with her. Also, one of the strongest reasons why I greatly admire her is her value, and respect she lives her life by.
She has always been a shining example in my life. She doesn’t make any differences between people I every sort of way: religion, skin colour, nationality etc. She always has many ways to guide me and makes me understand what is right and good for me. She is

My mother is a big reason why I am the person I am today, I was always told I’m just like her and I wouldn’t have chosen to have it any other way.…

There are a couple of people in my life today I could relate as having an influence on my life. My Grandparents, my mother and certain friends I have known a while and only seen now that some attributes I have, are because of them. Most times we as people try to think we have built ourselves up in a certain way without realizing that we are a certain way or choose not to do certain things because the people in our lives have had an influence on us. It has taken me twenty years to appreciate what an amazing influence my mother has been on my life. I didn’t know my mother well until I was 15 years old. She left when I was five to pursue her bachelor’s degree and masters in pharmacy in Bulgaria. She would come eventually for holidays when she could but all her visits seem very vague to me. Her being away for such a long time had in some way caused the divorce to happen between her and my father. I could tell it was a very hard time for her but gradually she began to support herself and got back on her feet. My mother has had an incredible influence on making me the person that I am today. Because of her, I am very hard working, I stay motivated and determined and I am a go getter.…

Throughout the years my mother has always been there for me and has been the one true positive factor in my life. She left my father with a 7 year old and two 3 year old children making $4.75 an hour at Walgreen's. She has always defended me and helped me do many things I would not have been able to do without her help. Her love and devotion has fought many battles against my father and schools that did not care about the student but only test scores. It hasn't always been easy and many years were spent with sometimes just enough money to eat, but through it all she has been a strong beacon of hope.…
