A Funny Incident
A funny incident

A funny incident occurred when I was in the 8th standard.

It was a normal day at school. Our dramatic competition was not far away. I had to help prepare the props for our house, the blue house. Initially everything was going fine and our props were being painted really well. The fourth prop was being painted red. I felt very thirsty and went to my classroom to drink water. When I came back the had almost finished painting this prop so I sat down next to my friends to see what they had done.

A moment after I sat down I felt cold and wet on my seat. I sprung up and saw that there was red paint on my trouser. I was totally aghast. I had sat on some red paint that had been spilt on the floor. I did not want to have a red butt the whole day. So I obviously rushed to the washroom and tried to wash it off but the bright red paint just did not go away. My trouser had also become totally wet. I felt terrible and did not know what to do.

I then remembered that extra uniforms are kept in our ‘‘sick bay.’’ I somehow went down without anyone noticing me. I asked the nurse for a pair of long trousers but she said there are no extra long ones but only short pants. I didn’t know what to do. I didn’t want to wear shorts! I would look very odd. Everyone would notice it and ask me hundreds of questions. They would also probably tease me a lot. But what choice did I have!

So reluctantly I accepted the longest pair of shorts and changed into them. Fortunately the socks that I was wearing were very long and could be easily pulled up to my knees. The shorts were rather long and almost came till the top of the socks. So I didn’t feel uncomfortable.

I quietly sneaked up to where the props were. I saw that everyone had gone back to their classes. So I too went to my class room and nervously waited for my friends to start teasing me. I was totally on tenterhooks. But to my utter surprise nobody said a word. They were all so busy discussing their props

On Monday January 31st there was IP practice. When I walked in they were talking about lipstick so of course Ms. Legina said something about me always wearing dark lipstick. Even though now I'm trying to think when she saw me with lipstick. But anyway I was putting my music up and taking off my shoes. I put my hands in my adidas and leaned over to Ms Legina and said something about which colors I had and sauntered over to the circle.…

Eventually, everyone came over to me and so I pushed my apprehensive feeling aside and got hyped back up.…

But then my girlfriend and I were sitting with our feet in the pool ankle deep. We were talking about our parent’s divorce. At the time it was just over a year that my parents got divorced so it was fresh like a cut. Hard to even think about, yet there I was talking about it. It started to rain lightly. So we moved to the steps outside the restaurant where we wouldn’t get hit by the rain. The restaurant was still open so I got the best coffee I have ever had. Slowly drinking it as if it was my…

INTRODUCTION: Mark Haddon’s novel, ‘The curious incident of the dog in the night-time’ (‘TCIDN’) contains many distinctive ideas that engage a reader. This unusual novel details the story of an autistic English boy who is isolated because he is socially challenged due to his condition. The author, although not autistic, masterfully capture what life is like from the point of view of an autistic sufferer who decides to write a mystery novel around the death of a dog. The exercises we performed during the workshop made us take into account how Christopher Boone distinguishes everyday objects from his perspective. The workshop was incredibly effective as it made us use personification to give emphasis to the objects involved during our production. Incorporating personification helped provide me with a wider variety of acting skills, which I will be able to use for my GCSE production to help create a more dramatic storyline.…

I woke up like I do every morning knowing that I had to walk on campus backwards for an entire day. I began brushing teeth and washing my face. As I was washing my face, I accidentally put soap in my eyes because I was very nervous about the day. Afterwards, I got dressed and I started by walking backwards out of my room. Unfortunately, the elevator was broken that day and I had to walk backwards down two flights of steps. As you can imagine, this did not have a great outcome. I missed a step and fell down five steps. I was happy I was not hurt and many people helped me up. Many of the people laughed at me as they were helping me get on my feet. Also, they asked questions such as “Why are you walking backwards?”, “Are you okay?” Did you know walk backwards on steps you will end up falling?” ,and “Are you slow?” These…

As I walked back to my chair, I noticed that they were looking in my direction. I could tell they were prurient by my clothing, and my c-string was slightly exposed by the shortness of my robe. I couldn't tell whether they could see my pussy slit through the material from where they were sitting though, however, I adjusted my robe at the top, so my left boob and nipple would be seen.…

So in I marched into the lecture with my psychedelic turquoise wig on and the reaction was from the lecturer when he asked was I feeling OK, I replied Yes I’m OK! you ? Now luckily for me he’s a broad minded person but I think he was on edge for the rest of his lecture to see if I was going to carryout some other act to disrupt his lecture. The reaction from all the students was one where they saw it as more of a rebellious act on my behalf then a foolish one! As they laughed and cheered for a few seconds but totally excepted my change in appearance and the lecture continued as if nothing that happened.…

I approached Mr T’s bed and asked is consent to give him a bed bath, “ensure that you gain their consent before you begin to provide care” (NMC, 2012) While the bath was running we began helping him to undress. He looked rather nervous – I think it was because he was having two young females caring for his personal needs. As he usually has his mother looking after him, he must have felt a little uncomfortable. At the thought of myself being in his position, being the same age as him, I began to feel embarrassed too.…
