AN UNEXPECTED TRIP
Life events are experiences that can be expected or unexpected. Different people face different experiences, which can also change a person's life. Unpredictable life events are those that surprise people as they do not have any idea what will happen. An unexpected trip can cost someone his job or studies sometimes.
Similarly, I had to go on an unexpected trip a few days ago. My visa was expiring and I had to go back to my country on an urgent leave, missing out my important classes and assignments. But what makes mine different is that, fortunately I had a lot of fun, even though I had to face some problems. There were several situations that I had been through in this trip: rejoicing, feeling uncomfortable and stressful.
Firstly, I received a call from my mom saying that I had to come back home as soon as possible because my Saudi visa was expiring. I felt really happy that I will go back home and see my family. The whole time in the airplane I kept thinking about my family, friends and when will the time pass so that I reach at my homeland’s airport.
I called one of my friends to meet me at the airport. When I reached there, I was waiting for him outside near the parking lot. Suddenly I saw a black car speeding towards me and crushed some bags nearby. I asked myself what a rash driver he is, and how could he crash it like that? Was he blind? But when I looked carefully, unfortunately, it was my friend whom I was waiting for. I could not recognize him until he stepped out of the car. He did not even realize that he crashed it till I told him. We used the jack to pull up the car and take the bags. Luckily nothing was damaged inside the bag. After that, another interesting thing happened; I went to the bathroom to wash my hands. While I was washing my hand I heard a women screaming, I went out and realized that I was in the ladies washroom.
So

This summer I went Princess Anne, Maryland for a six-week to a science bridge program and this was my first time ever being away from my parents and this was difficult because I depend so much on my parents and being that they were not there was going to be challenging. When I applied for the program I had high expectations that it would be a great experience for me and that I would learn new information about my major and also have the chance to meet new friends all while being away from home. For me being so far from home was such a challenge being that Usually I with either my parents or brothers, so when I was away from my family I was home sick while I was there. I would call my family several times throughout the day while I was away from home. I was not able to enjoy myself while I was in Maryland because I could only reflect about being back with my family. I did not like my experience so much that would find simple issues to be upset about, such as the music played on the vans or how fast they would drive the vans going to field trips.…

Arriving safely in Florida felt amazing. My mom had told me my aunt and uncle would be waiting to pick me up and drive me to their house. They had a guest bedroom waiting to be my room for the whole summer. I said bye to my new friend Jaden and got off the plane. I made sure I had all of my luggage and that nothing has been removed. I walked to where my aunt and uncle said they would meet me. I was new to this airport so it was hard for me to find where anything was. I eventually ended up finding them of course, but I had to ask several people for…

We were finally ready to leave and began walking to the car, which during the walk I remembered I needed to stop and get gas. So we headed to the gas station, filled up CoCo, which was my first vehicle, and were off to the dinner. In order to get to the dinner we had to get on the I-10 to I-110. We started off at great start on the highway. Crazily, only ten minutes into the ride we faced complications. While driving in the middle lane on I-10, an eighteen wheeler truck felt the need that it had to get over from the left lane into the middle. With the position I was in I could neither get over to my right nor to my left due to other vehicles being there. There was also a vehicle behind me. The truck began veering over to the right into my lane. I began to honk my horn and slow down as much as possible without causing the car behind me to hit me. I assumed the truck would realize by my honking of the horn it just was not the best time for him to come over into the lane I was in. Unfortunately he did not, and by the time the vehicle behind had gotten over for me to slow down even more the back of the truck hit the front of my car. The truck was lower than usual and the back hit the hood of my car sending my car spinning three times thereafter smacking into the barrier on the bridge. Initially, I was frozen in my seat thinking how fast it escalated but how slow it felt as far as spinning and hitting the…

Long long ago there lived a man by the name Plimo. Plimo was a man of wisdom, very well read and was quitepopular in his city. People who knew Plimo, praised his intelligence and regarded him as a man of action. Otherwise a good man, Plimo had a habit to boast and he bragged almost every day how none, even Satan, could ever subjugate him. I was first to arrive at the wreckage. It was a head on collision caused by a dust storm. My brother had been slowing down when the Ford truck appeared out of nowhere sitting in the middle of the road. The first thing I noticed was that my brother’s girlfriend was hobbling around with one foot twisted a sick way. She was walking on her ankle and not her foot at all, I had come to realize as I dragged her away from my brother and into my truck. I had to do that because my brother was starting to panic and I couldn’t let him go into shock. I noticed blood on the airbags when I first glanced at the wreckage but thought nothing of it. As soon as she was safe I ran to my brother and he said calmly, “Mac I’m stuck, it’s bad, it’s real bad.”…

It was a typical drive to school- fingers tapping on the steering wheel as I sing along with the overplayed pop song playing on the radio station. As I approached an intersection, I saw a dark blue sedan coming from the left, but realized that the driver had a stop sign and I did not. Therefore, I continued driving-still singing and tapping to the rhythm of the song- when suddenly, I found myself slamming on the brakes. My body jerked forward, and I looked up to find the front of my car collided with the dark blue sedan.…
