true friends
Hi, my name is Braden Spangle. I was born in Spokane at deaconess medical center on July 23rd in 1998. My parents are Dustin Spangle and Jodi Griggs. My step parents are Drew Griggs and Dawn Spangle. I have three siblings, my one year old sister Gleason, my brother Grady who is 10, and my step-brother Josh who is 7. My parents got divorced when I was nine. I play two sports at Mt. Spokane, I play basketball and baseball. During the fall I race motocross and I am currently sponsored. I also like to go snowboarding and snowmobiling at Mt. Spokane. In the summer time I wakeboard, tube, and fish at my lake cabins. An interesting fact about me is when I was little I fell off the back of my boat and landed on the prop back first and it cut me open and I still have little scars. In the middle of the summer 2013 I was jet skiing going pretty fast and I slowed the jet-ski down and a boat went really close behind me. While I turned around I noticed a separate jet ski was coming at the huge wave the boat made to jump it. As I tried to take off I was crushed by a jet ski and fell in the water. A nearby boat had to pick me up. As I was in the water freaking out the boat asked for my Dads number. I gave it to him but seconds later I went in to shock until I got to the hospital. That day was pain, ivy’s and air masks in me and on me. The rest of the next month was terrible and still to this day my back hurts. English has been alright for me if I stay concentrated. I got a B last year and I did alright. Some goals that I have set are; getting an A, no missing assignments, and to study for tests. I would eventually really want to go to college somewhere and become a cop or a fireman.

Bigelow and La Gaipa (1975) observed children’s friendships by asking a number of children to write an essay about their best friend using the approach called “content analysis”. William Corsaro however dictates that in order to study children you must study them in the context of their own peer culture, he used the “ethnographic approach”. In this essay I shall attempt to compare and contrast the approach used by Bigelow and La Gaipa (1975) and that taken by William Corsaro (2006).…

In the study of Philosophy there are many different philosophers, which touch on very similar concepts but have different opinions about what the actual definition of it may be. In this paper I will compare and contrast how ancient Greek philosopher Aristotle and German philosopher Arthur Schopenhaur view the term “friendship”. Both of these philosophers put up very strong points about how they believe a friendship should be. Aristotle was born in 384 BC. He was a student of the famous Greek philosopher Plato and a teacher to Alexander the Great. Arthur Schopenhaur was born in 1788. He went to a university and his professors focused on studying Plato. From reading these philosophers works one would find that Aristotle searches to find the good in people, even if they are “bad”, while Schopenhaur believes that all people have bad qualities, but they should not be putout for everyone to see. One might say Schopenhaur focuses more on the negative aspects of people.…
