The dictionary definition of a hero is “a person, typically a man, who is admired or idealized for their courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities.” Now, while all of this is true, a hero can be so much more. A hero can be someone who would risk himself for the better of humanity, get what they need need accomplished done well, be a great leader, know when to do the right thing, and be morally balanced and virtuous.…
Many people view a hero differently. A hero to some people may be someone who has many achievements, different outlooks on life, or just simply someone famous. I believe that I hero is someone that you simply admire. Whether it is your mom or dad, police officer, firefighter, teacher, or someone famous, heroes are people that you admire. Although to me, I admire someone that is determined and sets a good example for others. A hero to me is someone who is willing to work hard and be persistent. Someone that never gives up even when people say they cannot do it. All these characteristics are things I admire in a hero.…
what exactly is a hero? Who can be classified as heroic? From my perspective a hero is not only someone who wears a cape, has superhuman strength, wears fancy clothes or someone who saves his lady from the bad guy; however he is someone who stands for strength, bravery, humbleness, justice and equality. I believe a hero is someone who truly intends to make the world a better place for all people. He stands for what he believes in even though he may encounter danger and obstacle. We often watch movies with action heroes fighting for a good cause, but these heroes cause us ignore the real life heroes such as Cesar Chavez and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Cesar Chavez and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr are genuinely the definition of a hero.…
Throughout history, there have been an incalculable number of heroes; that can be through reality or fictitious. From viewing the clips from this assignments and reading various articles regarding heroism, there are multiple aspects that determine exactly what a hero should be. In regards to the Spiderman video, Aunt May explains that a hero is someone that is courageous, self-sacrificing, and sets examples for others. Likewise, an article I read describes a hero as someone who is courageous, selfless, humble, patient, and caring. In my opinion, a hero is an individual who cares more about the life of others than themselves; they would do anything in their power to protect others as well as the world around them.…
What is a hero?A hero is someone who can save someone else’s life or teach them things that can change their life. Three people that inspire me or made me want to make a difference in the world are Malcolm X, Martin Luther King Jr. , and Rosa Parks. They are my heros because they done things that they believe in and that they thought were fair because they wanted to make sure everyone had rights to do whatever they want whenever they wanted to do it. I believe that everyone has a voice in the world and if u believe in something u should do it no matter what the risks are.…

A hero is someone who leaves thier family when there’s a possibility they will never see them again. A hero to many is someone who goes around running impossible speeds like flash doing good or a person with supernatural powers. Or like Judah thinks a hero is the good guy that fights the bad guy and always wins. However, to me a hero is a person who doesn’t care about money, fame and glory but they care about the happiness they can bring and the care they can bring for their family. A person who consoles me when I am upset, a person who always tries to find the good in everything. A person who fights for her beliefs(even if sometimes they are stubborn about it). A person who always gets me on my good side when I have a bad day. Someone who smiles and laughs at her own mistakes. Ciocia Tereska this why you are my hero!!! Against all odds…
What does being a hero mean to you? Well, to me, being a hero means being courageous and giving acts of achievements and accomplishments to the community. These people give back without realizing that they are giving back for good. Did you know that anyone can be a hero? Even you. But a hero doesn't just do something heroic and courageous just so they can be known as one. They are built up of selflessness and consideration and they put others before themselves.…
A hero can mean many different things to a person. But to me a hero is someone that i think would risk their lives, someone who isn't selfish and puts others in front of them, instead of themselves. That is what i think of what a hero is to me. Heros are just like us, but would do anything to help others as long as they’re okay.…
What is a hero really? Everyone has their own beliefs about what a hero is, but the beliefs greatly vary from each other. In the movie Troy for example, lots of people think that Achilles is a hero because he is such a great warrior. In reality though, someone needs to be a lot more than a great weapon-handler to be a hero. A hero is a man of distinguished courage or ability, admired for his brave deeds and noble qualities. A hero is a person who is regarded as a model or ideal person; in the time of the Trojan War, that would have been a warrior or king of special strength, courage and ability. A hero puts others first, and sacrifices his own needs and wishes for the good of humanity. With that whole definition…
The official definition for a hero is a person, typically a man who is admired or idealized for courage. Which I agree, a hero is someone who has tons of courage and can make anyone feel safe. I would say a trustworthy man/woman adds to the characteristics of a hero. A hero is also a protector of everyone around. A hero is basically an admired man or woman who tries everything in their power to do anything they can for someone.…
The definition of a hero is a person who is admired or idealized for courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities. “People who go to work everyday, make sacrifices to raise families, and get through life without hurting other people if they can help it-those are the real heros”, this quote by Dean Koontz, means to me that everyone can be a hero. Everyone can be a hero by standing up for something that they truly, deeply care about.…
What is a hero? Many people have different definitions of what a hero can be for example Beowulf. In the story Beowulf, Beowulf the hero is described as a great fighter and a man of tremendous strength. In my opinion a hero is not what the story describes a hero as. my definition of a hero is a good person who does something nice or saves somebody. A hero can also be someone you look up too. The Hollywood's definition of a hero is way different than my definition of a hero their definition of a hero is somebody who saves lives, has supernatural powers and are always protagonist in the stories. Some traits a hero has to make him a hero are they are nice, brave, have powers, caring and are patient. My definition and Hollywood's definition of…
What makes someone a hero ? Heros are very kind to us they do a lot of things like stop bullying. That may not be a lot, but I know a woman who changed our world without “Superpowers.”…
I believe that a hero needs to be courageous. One example of this would be if a child went to their parents and told them something that they want to be the opposite gender, I think it’d be courageous for the parent to fully support their child, and buy them the clothes that they want, and the medication, etc. That would be courageous because not all parents will do that these days, due to the stigma that could be put on the parents. I also believe that a hero needs to be decisive. An example of that would be if somebody who was in the army needed to make a quick decision, like if their commander just died, and they needed to lead the rest of the people in their troop. They would need to make a smart decision, but it would also have to be quick.…
