Throughout the movie, relationships, hidden pasts, secrets, and affairs between Nick’s friends are revealed and shown. Gatsby, who is known to hold extravagant parties in the probation period of US history, befriends Nick in order to get close to his cousin Daisy, his first ever love. However, death and tragedy strikes and affairs soon become uncovered. At the end, Gatsby dies an unfortunate death, and Nick, disgusted with New York City, leaves its wonders for good.

2. Iron Jawed Angels tells the story of the creation of the National Women’s Party which heavily influence the passing of the 19th amendment. The film talks about Alice Paul and Lucy Burns who leave the NAWSA to create their own party. However, their ways of protesting was publicly discriminated and as a result the women were sent to a Occoquan Workhouse. However, the treatment within the facility led to pressure upon U.S. Senator, leading to finally the signing of a new amendment.
