Students will be more pressured to follow directions and guidelines to achieve certain grades. The traditional grading system will also present an easier outlook for parents and students according to their deficiencies. According to the article, Ken Halla (high school history teacher) argues that the A-F grading system helps students and parents to better understand students’ performance and their progress more easily.
