Teacher the Nation Builder
The essence of the teacher as a nation builder cannot be over-emphasized..

The teacher can be rightly called a nation builder. Teachers through their perseverance, love and sacrifices has shown us the right path in which great men have built our nation. It is our dear teachers who mould our character, our personality and show us the right direction

which leads us to our final destination.

Unnoticed work and dedication,
Years of hidden preparation,
Laying firm a foundation
For the next generation,
You are the Builder.
You brought smiles on our faces,
Showing good manners, social graces,
Many books and numbers and places,
Enriching up our brainy spaces,
You are the Guide.
The ring of the bell,
To close of day, who can tell
How we appear under your spell?
You have skilled us very well,
You are the Artist.
On to top destiny,
In making our dreams reality,
You have missed your legacy,
Precious is your memory,
You are the best Teacher

When God created teachers,
He gave us special friends
To help us understand His world
And truly comprehend
The beauty and the wonder
Of everything we see,
And become a better person
With each discovery.

When God created teachers,
He gave us special guides
To show us ways in which to grow
So we can all decide
How to live and how to do
What’s right instead of wrong,
To lead us so that we can lead
And learn how to be strong.

Why God created teachers,
In His wisdom and His grace,
Was to help us learn to make our world
A better, wiser place.

I Want To Be Like You
By: Joanna Fuchs

Thank you, teacher, for being my life’s role model.
When I consider all you’ve taught me and reflect on the kind of person you are,

I want to be like you— smart, interesting and engaging, positive, confident, yet unpretentious.

I want to be like you— well-informed and easy to understand, thinking with your heart as well as your head, gently nudging us to do our best, with sensitivity and insight.

I want to be like you— giving your time, energy and talent to ensure the brightest possible future for each of us.

Thank you, teacher
For giving me a goal to shoot for:
I want to be like you!

We’ll Remember You
By: Joanna Fuchs

Thank you teacher for helping us
To learn what we need to know
We’ll all remember you
No matter where we go.

Thank you, teacher, for being
So nice and kind and good;
We like you so much, teacher,
We’d stay here if we could!

In days where man needed knowledge;
Teachers were born with all the courage
To teach and share education
To develop people is their inspiration
The chalk of wisdom is their weapon
The board with dusts is where we look on

Oh teacher let us thank you with our hearts
For showing us that the world is lighter when we do our parts
For giving us the gift of knowledge
A thing we can bring in college

Now that the days have come to end
We bade goodbye while we pretend
That we are happy to see us go
And part our ways and leave the door

Today we have come to this stage
To take our ribbons and march in parades
And as we walk the isle to graduation
We’ll always remember —you lead us to our destination

The true teacher is he who can immediately come down to the level of the student, transfer his soul to the student’s soul and see through and understand through his mind. Such a teacher can really teach and none else.
- Swami Vivekanand

I believe that being an educator is more than teaching the next generation, instead it is about expanding God’s kingdom through spreading his love. In order to share this love I must be able to create a personal relationship with each student in my classroom. I must make the time to understand and learn where each one of my students hearts are at and be able to meet them where they are. God did not create humans to be alone and the Lord states in scripture that, “[it is] not good that man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him” (KJV Genesis 2:18). I believe we were each put on this earth to lead, support, and guide those around us as brothers and sisters in Christ. Although, there maybe some students who learn best in solitude I will mainly maintain a classroom environment that possess collaborative learning. My classroom will be a place where students learn how to interact successfully with others while living out God’s calling for each of us. This includes teaching my students how to interact with others and how to display God’s love within a collaborative learning environment. As a teacher I must accept the hardest role and that is to reflect God’s love and grace within my classroom at all times. I must be committed to the growth of my students not only in their education but also to their growth on a…

Teachers are by far the single most important profession field in the world. They teach students how to think, how to do math, how to write, how to read and many other important life skills. What would happen if Educators did not exist? We would turn into a country like Ethiopia, one of the top 10 least educated countries in the world. This would be the downfall of our civilization. Teachers aren’t recognized enough for the time and effort they put into their teachings of their classroom. Education is important to any nation that would want its citizens to prosper and pursue a higher stand on education. Each profession occupies a specific niche in society, doctors cure, engineers design and bankers handle our cash. Teaching, however, stands out as a more prominent entity. Teachers instill the transcendent faculties of communication, decision-making and awareness of social responsibility. No matter what field we chose to pursue later on in our lives, we again turn to teachers for training. A strong information base and best-developed capabilities of knowledge and analysis are important for progress. These crucial responsibilities of knowledge instilment, kindling inspiration and encouraging creative though are all vested in the…
