Small Print Controversy
Do you enjoy music? Have you ever questioned the lyrics you’ve sung along with your favorite artists? If you answered yes, I have the perfect website for you! I also found myself wondering if I was singing the correct words to my favorite songs. To clarify, I searched for a lyric engine through google search and found www.musicmademe.com. Despite the website’s lack of graphics and minute print, it’s still a great music guru site because of its wonderful organization, easy navigation, and wide selection of artists and songs.
When I came upon this site, my first observation was bad. The screen loaded and I couldn’t believe it was finished. The page was very somber with only a white background and small red lettering. The only graphic in the …show more content…
I would add flash graphics to this site to make it more enticing to their audience. Small print is another problem with this website. It is somewhat difficult to read through all the forums because the print is too small. Because of the small print another problem arose. Small print limits your audience. With older artists such as Louis Armstrong and Otis Redding, I feel the website should appeal more to older generations also. Have you ever heard your grandparents say, “This print is too small,” when reading the newspaper? Your reply is most likely yes, which proves my point. Overall, the print size is not a huge problem but could be enlarged to appeal to more people.
Navigation through this website is great. An alphabet search bar is located at the top of the website, used to locate the artist you’d like in alphabetical order. Once you find the artist you are intending to find, you simply click on the artist and all the albums made by him or her will be shown. Click on the album of the song you’d like to view is on and the songs will be projected from that album on to the next page. To view the lyrics simply click on the song and the lyrics will be shown on the following page. Finding lyrics is fast, easy, and convenient when you use this
