In “Hanging Fire” The author shows how when you are in tough times don't give up and just keep going, even when you feel like there's nothing else. When you’re not getting much help from your family, keep going anyway. Nobody even stops to think about my side of it is a line from the poem that I thought connected to me. The reason I felt like it connected to me is because sometimes when I'm in an argument with someone, they don't feel like hearing my side of the story. In the story she was having a tough time dealing with a little bit of depression. She was being bullied and that lead to depression. This is significant for me because last year I was being bullied and I dealt with depression. It is significant to others
