The management information system is the centrally coordinated system of a computer expertise and management, The MIS is the computerized database of financial information organizes and programed to produce regular reports on operations. At ICT4Students we use MIS to give feedback on our performance and are used to monitor the company as a whole oppose to separate departments so we can check the product sale levels and the rate of refurbishment of products. The MIS helps us to measure our progress to reach our goals.
Transaction processing systems
A transaction processing system meets the data collection and processing and outputting functionalities for operations of a business. This information system collects data from user inputs and then generates outputs on the data that has been collected. In ITC4Students this will be used when customers are shopping online. How it would work is that if a customer bought a product and that was the last one in stock then it would automatically update the system saying it was sold out. If it was a good seller then it would order more. This is great for ICT4Students because it would help them meet the demand without having to employ extra people.

Businesses use customer relationship systems to synchronise sales and marketing efforts. What this information system does is gather and track customer activities, including the purchasing trends of customers, faulty products and customer services.
