my role model is my mother
My Role Model Is My Mother
A role model is someone you look up to who can have a major impact on your life. I have been blessed with a great number of influential people throughout my life - from high school friends who let me be myself to mentors who have helped me make the most of myself. However, there has been one person who has always been in my life. My mother.
In the first place, my mother possesses certain qualities that I admire. She is such a loving, caring, selfless, and hard-working person. She is so smart, wise and patient. All in one, my mother is my best friend. If I ever need my mom’s advice or help she will be always there for me even today. I never feel awkward talking to her about my problems because I know she will never judge my past actions. Instead she will help me because she really cares. She has been very patient with me and never give up on me.
For example; When I moved to the U.S., she was devastated! How was I going to live alone without my family? Without her by my side to help me, in a country that I don’t know anybody. On my worst days she stood 24/7 on Skype or on the phone with me, supporting me, and encouraging me to keep going and never give up on my dreams. She would always say that no mountain is high enough, which means to stand up for what I believe in no matter what the situation is.
Another reason is, my mother taught me how to be a better person by respecting myself, respecting others, and being a woman of integrity. She has been a good example for me by instilling strong family bonds. Also, she is the best person to me when I am down. She showed me so much love that it brightens up my day no matter how cloudy it has been.
In conclusion, everyone in the world has a role model. A person who serves as a model in a particular behavior or social role for another to admire. My mother is my role model because she does so much for me. She gives me everything she has, just to make my life easier. I love my mother and I am thankful that she is the way she is. She is always there for me and I would do anything for her.
