Best mom in the world, not just another coffee cup slogan!
The person whom I admire most is my mom, -. She has been my rock for as long as I have been alive. My mom has raised me to be a respectful, mature, caring, and hardworking individual. She healed the boo-boos I suffered as a young child, guided me through the awkwardness of puberty, and softened the heartache and disappointment that come with adolescence. My mom is the hardest worker I know. While taking care of three children despite her multiple sclerosis, my mom went to college and maintained a 4.0 GPA. She is also the kindest person I have ever met. If my mom knew of anyone who didn’t have enough food, she would literally get food out of our cabinets to feed them. Lastly, she is the smartest person—academically as well as commonsense-wise—I have ever met. Over the years my mom has talked me out of many bad decisions, such as bell-bottom jeans and blue eye-shadow, and coached me to make good choices, such as charity work and taking college classes in high school. Because my mom has passed along so much of her wisdom to me, I will be better able to contribute to society than I would have been without her example. First, my mom is the hardest worker I know. She maintained a 4.0 GPA in college. She took care of three children and an entire household before she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, a disease that damages nerves. Despite the pain my mom is in, she does everything she can for her children. Depending on the day and the severity of her pain, she will do laundry, dishes, vacuuming, and even mopping, if she feels up to it. She amazes me daily with the load she puts on herself. She makes me see that if she can get up and do so much with the amount of pain she is in, that I can do more than I think I can. Second, my mom is the kindest person I have ever met. She would help anyone in a time of peril. Whether that

I have read excerpts from two texts. An informational text titled ‘The Sea Around Us’ by Rachel Carson, and a literature text titled ‘Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea’, by Jules Verne. In both excerpts there are many descriptions of the ocean. Many people debate whether details are described more vividly in informational text, or in literature. I feel the ocean was described more vividly in the excerpt from the literature text ‘Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea’.…

My mother is the most caring person that I know, always helping people and praying for those in need. My mother would give her last to someone who needs it, especially if it means making his or her life easier. My mother would go as far as helping out her worst enemy, which I don’t think I could do, when I listen to my mom on the telephone sometimes she always has a positive attitude about everything regardless of what’s going on in her life. She is always willing to volunteer and help the needy. In her limited free time, my mom enjoys running marathons in order to raise money for charities she supports. She raised over $3,000 for the cancer society when she ran her first marathon…

School is my main priority, because I know I need a good education to help me find and maintain the career I want, but It's somewhat hard to focus on school because of how stressed I get over not having a job, or any source of income coming in. There are so many things I need to pay for and so much I need to help my parents out with. Dropping out of school is out of the question. I'm gonna stay in school no matter what. “All the world's a stage, And all the men and women merely players.” touched my heart when I sat under a tree in dog wood park to see the play which leaves me no doubt that this is “As you like it” written by the greatest writer in the English language and the world’s pre-eminent dramatist and play write William Shakespeare. They play started at 7.00pm in the evening and it was directed by Steven W Gwilt. They story was about a girl named Rosalind who was the nephew of a king named Duke Fredrick and a boy named Orlando who was a prince. Rosalind and Orlando fell in love with each other when they meet at a wrestling competition. Their love goes deeper when Rosalind went to forest with her cousin Cilia and a fool guy named Touchstone in search for her banished father in a disguise of a man and named herself as Ganymede and coincidently meets Orlando while Orlando was expressing his love for Rosalind with the nature of the forest and Heather. With the disguise Rosalind appeared in front of Orlando and said that his love for Rosalind isn’t enough. To prove his love Orlando had to woo Ganymede. Along with this story there were other love stories also. The fool Touchstone fell in love with Phebe who came along with them and there is the story of the couple Jacques and Audrey. Orlando’s elder brother Oliver also fell in love with Cilia. The story ends with a happy wedding in the end.…
