Life During The Middle Ages
Following the dark, Middle Ages came a time period of renewed interests in things of the world such as education, art, literature, and science. This period was called the Renaissance. During the Renaissance, education was a common goal for people and the result of this made people more knowledgeable in subjects such as the liberal arts. It also took on a movement of thought and action concerned with human interest and values which was called humanism. The printing press would become one of the most key components of getting the word out to people about new discoveries and advances. Religion still remained a necessity, but the authority and some practices of the church began to be questioned which led into the Protestant Reformation, but let’s not overlook this renewal era. The Renaissance was a time where people changed the world and made it a better place during their time and impacts us in our day-to-day lives today.
