Iphone 4s Swot Analysis
The iPhone 4S is a touchscreen smartphone developed by Apple Inc. It is the fifth generation of the iPhone, a device that combines the 3.5-inch iPod Touch with mobile phone capability. It retains the exterior design of its predecessor, the iPhone 4, but is host to a range of improved hardware specifications and software updates. The iPhone 4S comes in two colors, black and white. It is a combination of a hand-held computer, cell-phone, GPS, digital/video camera, and music player and Siri into one device, powered by a rechargeable 1432mAh lithium-polymer battery.
SWOT stands for Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats, and is an important tool often used to highlight where a business is, and where it could be in the future. The following SWOT analysis looks at iPhone which is operating in consumer electronics industry. The following SWOT analysis will give one’s a clear picture of the business environment iPhone 4S is operating in at the present time.
Strengths:
Siri is one of the main competitive advantages and therefore a strength of iPhone 4S. With Siri now you can use your voice to utilize the iPhone. Just talk to Siri as you would to a person: “Do I need an umbrella?” or “Any great burgers around here?” or “Where’s the closest ATM?” Siri not only understands what you say, it knows what you mean. It figures out the right apps to use to find the right answer. Then, just like a personal assistant, it answers you. Siri makes phone calls, sends messages, schedules meetings, sets reminders, and more. How much more? Just ask, and Siri tells you that, too. Siri, the intelligent assistant that helps you get thing done. The following section will outline other main strengths of iPhone 4S.
