how to maintain a healthy lifestyle
Smile A very good morning to the principal, honourable judges, teachers and my fellow friends. Are you having a bad day? Like a flower with a pleasant scent, your smile can draw people close enough to see inside you. A smile can change everything. Today, I would like to talk about “ The Power of a Smile.” Ladies and gentlemen, To begin, I believed that a smile is one of the most obvious and effective methods of non-verbal communication. It is one of the first things someone will notice about you. A smile, both physically as well as subconsciously, transmits the message. Smiling is indeed important in our everyday life, both in our personal lives as well as within the workplace. Many people do not realize the power of a smile. Did you know that when you smile, you release a chemical message deep within your brain known as an Endorphin? These Endorphins are strong enough to actually have the power to reduce symptoms of physical, or emotional pain, and they will blanket you with a nice warm fuzzy feeling of well being. Therefore, a smile can actually work magic A single smile has the power within it to change the world because smiles are contagious. There is the saying "Smile and the whole world smiles with you." When you smile, it does tend to trigger off smiles in others around you. Even in extremely stressful situations, a smile can easily brighten up everybody's mood. Ladies and gentlemen,
Besides, smiling Is Universal. A smile cuts across all barriers. It knows no age, gender, color or culture. No matter where you are in the world, or what language you speak, a smile will always be understood. It represents goodwill, affection and openness towards others. It also communicates happiness and acceptance. In other words, smiling is one thing that connects and encompasses us all.
The value of a smile is priceless. It can't be bought, begged or borrowed. It costs nothing to give, but is the most sincere gift that one might be able to give

The smile only comes from those whom have reached the awakening and the understanding of life. “The Buddha walked away and his look and half-smile remained imprinted on Siddhartha’s memory forever…a man only looks and walks like that when he has conquered his Self,” (Hesse, pg. 29). Once Siddhartha saw Buddha smile he knew he had reached his peace, his enlightenment, and everything he had been striving for. He now feels one with himself. The smile also represented enlightenment because after he taught Govinda how to find the peace, Siddhartha himself had smiled. The gift of the smile has finally pushed Siddhartha into the peace he is needed to complete his journey. He has finally reached his long awaited enlightenment…

A facial expression is the movement of the muscles beneath a person’s skin and it often demonstrates someone’s state of mind. For example if a person is upset they may look down and have upwardly slanted eyebrows and a frown. On the other hand a person who is happy will probably smile and have crescent-shaped eyes. Eye-to-eye contact can also show how a person is feeling or what they may be thinking. If a person avoids eye contact it may indicate that they are upset or annoyed, whereas a person who has wide eyes may suggest that they are excited. Facial expressions can help professionals understand how a person may be feeling or thinking. It is also very important that professionals show the right facial expressions too, for example they should smile when speaking to someone to show that they are interested and happy to be with them. This will help the person’s self-esteem and to build a strong and trusting relationship so they can share any personal information. (Wikipedia, 2015) (Carolyn Aldworth,…
