How to Cook Chicken Pot Pie in a Crock Pot
Chicken Pot Pie

Today I am going to teach you how to cook chicken pot pie in a crock pot. This recipe is a family favorite and is especially great in the winter time to come home to a hot cooked meal. This recipe has been in the family for a couple of generations, my great great grandmother first made it and it has gone down the generations since then. First, you will have to have the ingredients to make chicken pot pie and also a crock pot. The ingredients that you will need to make this include: 32 ounce can of chicken broth, 2cans of cream of chicken soup, 2cups of milk, 3 boneless/skinless chicken breast, 2 cups of frozen peas, 2 cups of frozen carrots, 2 cups of frozen corn, 1 tablespoon of salt, 1 ½ tablespoon of pepper, 4 teaspoons of cornstarch, 4 teaspoons of water and lastly biscuits. To prepare first I let the chicken thaw out overnight so that it is ready when you are preparing your meal, when you are ready to prepare your meal I then cook the chicken and when the chicken is done I then cut the chicken into cubs and put off to the side. I then prepare the chicken broth and cream of chicken soup, to prepare those items I open the cans with a can opener and set off to the side. Then I cut open the bag of peas, carrots and corn and set off to the side. Lastly, I take out measuring cup and spoons to prepare for the milk, pepper and salt. Being all of the ingredients are ready now then I start putting the ingredients into the crock pot. First I put the chicken broth in with the cream of chicken soup and also milk, I then mix those ingredients together, then I add the chicken cubes, peas, carrots, corn, salt and pepper. I mix all the ingredients together until mixed well. I then turn on the crock pot on high and this will take a total of four hours to cook. I check on the crock pot and once I notice the chicken pot pie is hot and bubble I remove 4 cups of gravy and place in a saucepan over medium to high heat, off to the side I take a different

The most important part of making this dish is how you prepare the ingredients. Bring out your two deep pots and fill both of them halfway with water, then place both pots on a hot stove. Once the water begins to boil take out the noodles from the box and put them all in the pot, also take the raw chicken and boil it in the other pot. Peel the onion and garlic, then cut the onion in half and separate the rings and put both ingredients into the pot with the raw chicken. While the…

It's in the water, really. The difference between crawdads from Louisiana or crayfish from anywhere else comes down to the seasoning added in the boiling water. Cajun cuisine has been stereotyped along with Chinese, Korean, Indian, Mexican and Thai foods for being very hot and spicy. While not every Cajun dish causes tears and runny noses, many are generously seasoned. With any dish, the amount of pepper spice desired is easily adjusted and will not take away from your enjoyment if you don't break out in a sweat after a few bites. True Cajun crawfish boils can be painful to the outsider, but this usually happens when fingers get too close to the eyes. In order to season safely…
