Valid information is information that is reliable and correct which can be used for many purposes when it’s needed. An example of information that needs to be valid would be if you are checking the prices for server software for an IT business and the prices listed were wrong then you made plans based on wrong prices which could make the whole plan wrong, so this is a general example when information needs to be valid and correct.
Reliable
Reliable information is information that you can rely on as it’s correct and coming from a valid source. Reliable information needs to able to fit in with other facts you know personally. Information that you can trust would be considered reliable. If you aren't sure about the source, or the person that supplied you with the information you don't trust, then the information would be unreliable.
This is how much you trust the source of the information meaning how valid it will be. For example in an IT Job if you had asked for information on the people that use your computer system and only one person replied and his opinions where widely different from everyone else’s then the information is only applicable to that person making the whole information unreliable.

If information is delivered before or after a deadline it is not considered to be timely.
