Graduation Day
As the beautiful sky happily accompany with sunrays shine through the football field where the ceremony of my graduation took place. Someone above must have known it was my graduation day and blessed me with a beautiful day. I was so excited that the night before the graduation I could not sleep at all. I tossed and turned all night, thinking about the graduation. I waited this moment for four long years in high school.
Graduation is one of the memorable days of my life. On my graduation, I was filled with butterfly in my stomach. I was like an ant in the crowd waiting to be crushed. The place filled with students and staffs and conversation was excitedly exchange from one friend to another. I wondered around the place looking for my friends who are already laughing excitedly with each other. After searching through the crowd of people, I finally found them. I sneaked on them and suddenly without warning I tapped on one of my friends shoulder and yelled out “HEY.” He jumped as if the earthquake has occurred. He turned around and said, “You scare the hell out of me, man.” We were all laughing and the conversation began once more. “So what do we do afterward?” I said. We started to discuss whether we went out to eat later or we go our separate way. My friends Cong asked me, “what do you think? Where should we go after?” I turned to my female friend named Phuong and asked, “Do you have any plan after this? If not, we should go out and celebrate, what do you think?” She answered me with no words but a shake of a head, and then she nodded for the two questions I asked. “Then its settle, we will go out and celebrate later.” I yelled “YEAH.” Suddenly, everyone started to run toward the field like lab mice ran back to its cage. We were like an army of bees brushed out of our hive with the common goal: going the football field where the ceremony started.
We then raced to the field where everyone was and went to our seats that already arranged to us. As we sat there with

On a spring day in 2011, what do you think of? Is it the flowers you planted or is it the birds as they chirped and created a melody? For me? It was a friday night. Now, you may ask, a friday night? What is so special about that? That night was one of the first times my heart set sail as my feet, one by one, stepped onto the softball field in Hallstead, Pennsylvania. I was in sixth grade, you know that grade that you start switching classes, being held more responsible, and were expected to be independent. Me? I was out to…

In the story “Graduation”, a young black girl feels anticipated and honored with her graduation day. However, on her graduation day, she feels frustrated and shadowy because Mr. Donleavy, a white man, delivers a speech to the graduating class of 1940. At first, Angelou is quite excited because she is proud of her academic achievements; besides that, she is also about to make a speech in front of many students. In addition, her mother also gives her a fancy dress with an abundance of embroideries and frills. Furthermore, many people also praise her of her wisdom. When Mr. Donleavy makes his speech, Angelou feels disappointed and bitter because his speech includes too much racism. In the uninspired speech, he says a little improvement will be done in black school, while a lot advanced equipment is offered in Central School (a white school). He also mentioned that all the black should pursue is those jobs at the bottom of the society such as maids and farmers.…

Omg okay so we got our results today! 7A's for meeeeeee yayyy!! So our school had 65 straight A's this year, more compared to last years. All in all, pengetua said she's pretty satisfied with our results. 4th in malacca, if you ask me, I'd say it's way more than what we anticipated. So we were all in school by 10 and pengetua came at 11. As soon as she came, everyone started shouting and screaming with joy idk why. And she walked in like a bride to be, gave her speech, and announced the results. Well actually Cikgu Zainal was announcing the names, and she was shaking our hands while handing us the result slips. The pressure in that hall was intense. After everyone got their results, we had a photo session where all of us were pretty much squeezed since there were just too many people. Then another photo session for a Chinese newspaper in pengetua's office. First time I stepped into her room hehe. That's pretty much it. Oh and I snapped a pic with Cikgu Zainal and mummy Aizal too. Solo ones FINALLY YESSSS!! I was kinda emotional with mummy. I went to her to get my booklist and first thing she said was congratulations. We shook hands and I automatically hugged her. I had no intention of hugging her, but idk why my body just hugged her without the knowledge of my brain. I have no regrets though. Cos she is and always will be my school mum. I think mostly everyone from 3M took a photo with her, but according to me, she's only this close (our faces were really touching) in my picture. And for the first time ever, it's not me who barged at her. Really gonna miss her next year. Anyway that's about it for results. Thanks to everyone. It wild have been impossible without all of you.…
