Family or friends, who is more important
Friends or family...I have been thinking about this. Its a lot to be said about this sensitive subject. So I have asked that question myself. Is my family or my friends more important to me? Some people say the relationships we have with our friends are more important than those we have with our family. Others put relationships with family above our friends. Friends. Real friends, the ones that support you no matter what and you support them. You can rely on true friends and they can rely on you. Frienship is a open book and you can let yor friend to read any page. I agree with this saying as you can be trustfull with them not afraid that true may hurt them. True friends stay friends for years to come and no distance or circumstances can ever change it. Family. Many people would say "family is more important because you're "related", but I'd rather have someone who wants to be a part of us, not just someone genetically design to be. Family is a tricky and very delicate institution. Sometimes one wrong word or gesture can create a tricky situation. On the other hand blood it thicker than water and family can be very loving and family supportive. Friends are also important, they make us laugh and help us with problems as well. Remember, family can be your friends, too! Someone would say family, because they are the ones who helped raise you and will always support you. We are born into family and we do not get to choose those we are related to. Sometimes a person will not have much in common with their parents or siblings (even in the case of twins), but are still tied to them by blood. Your family has to love you no matter what. If your family behaves with you as your best friends then family is important. If your friends are like your family members then Friends are important. I love my family and I do but honestly I think my friends are a much bigger part of my life. I can choose friends that understand me and make me feel good ever when I’m feeling

In many cases, it is often shown that in order to avoid issues such as death, people choose to keep their guard up instead of opening up to one another. Death is a topic that is usually kept unspoken of when one is not ready for another to pass. People, families especially, tend to keep quiet or set up a front enabling one from expressing their true feelings on the issue. There is struggle between letting our feelings out, and being able to act as a strong figure is often shown in literature, such as poetry. In her poem, "Legacies," Nikki Giovanni shows how families choose to make the topic of death a "touchy" subject, instead of being open about it, which is shown through her characters, the grandmother and the granddaughter.…

I know friends come and go, but your family will ALWAYS stick to you. From their encouraging words, I had a great recovery and did not have deal with ulcerative colitis the rest of my life. Also my family has encouraged me to get good grades and always try my ultimate best. My family is the one that will never stop you from laughing. They always have cheesy jokes and stories from their works. One major item they support is dance. I have been dancing for about 7 yrs and I am really compassionate about it. I do Bollywood and hip pop. My parents know how much it means to me bringing me to dance practice even though their job at work doesn’t end until 10 min before the practice starts. I am so graciously blessed to have parents that adjust to their shifts at work to bring me to dance practice. A lot of fellow peers didn’t have families that come to every dance show, but my family was there for every single one and cheering me on even though I make big mistakes on stage. It was always meant a lot for me that I have great parents that…

Have you ever wondered who would be there for you if something tragic happened? When something bad happens to you, you think all of your friends are going to be there right next to you. I unfortunetaly learned the hard way that is not the case. I did learn that my family will be there no matter what happens in my life. Who should be the most important people in your life? Your parents and siblings are the people that you should never forget. For my long term personal goal, I would like to keep a strong relationship with my family because they are the people who was there for me whenever I needed them. To keep a strong relationship, I believe I need to have an open communication with my parents. For instance, I would call them if I were to come home late or keep them informed of my whereabouts. I want a family of my own that I can provide for them with a good home and with a stable income. I believe to reach this goal I need a small step. I want to save money and keep some in a savings account that I can use later in life for my family. I believe to reach this goal I need a short term goal that I can concentrate on for a short period of time. I feel that I need to show my parents that I am a responsible person and that I can fulfill any responsibilities given to me. During this journey in reaching in this goal, we may come cross penny little arguments that may escalate into bigger problems but surely if I follow my game plan everything should be alright.…

Your family supports you emotionally/ socially, by offering you wisdom, help and experience. This statement means that family is there for you whenever you need them and won’t leave you alone when you desperately need help. Friends say that they’re always there for you, but they aren’t always. Sometimes they will just tell you to get over it and leave you alone with no help or advice given. Friends also can’t provide you with all the wisdom which you need, while your family can. For example you did something really stupid like breaking a window. You need help. Your friends will tell you not to say anything, but you will feel guilty. Your family would provide the wisdom and help you need. The wisdom that you gain during your life you will need to pass on to your children and your grandchildren and be there for them when they need someone, because they just about always need you more than their friends in difficult situations.…
