1. Why do people use Facebook and what do they do when they are there? 
 The people use Facebook to connect with their friends, families and other members in their social network. In their free time between work meetings, class time, time-off etc. people use Facebook to interact with their friends, which brings real value to them in their free time. When the people are in Facebook, they upload photos, share information, like content posted by their friends, fan pages etc. The people shared over 219 billion photos making Facebook the largest photo-sharing site in the world. The Facebook users like to share information with their friends and other members in their network in Facebook. They prefer to share information in Facebook’s trusted environment controlled by various privacy control settings offered by Facebook on its website to its users. Using the “Subscribe” button the users can follow public updates and using the “Ticker” feature can see a real time stream of updates on the site. In 2011 when Facebook released the different profile page called “Facebook Timeline”, the people use it to document life events, post accomplishments including those that occurred before they signed up Facebook, organize their posts, contents and activities chronologically over the span of their lifetime. Half of the Facebook users access Facebook site via smart phones and tablets.
