DANIEL SENIOR ORIFICE FITTING

The Daniel Senior Orifice fitting is a fluid measurement device that measures flow based on the differential pressure principle. The Daniel Senior Fitting utilizes a duel chamber design which positions an orifice plate in a flow stream. The orifice plate generates a pressure drop as flow moves though the Daniel Senior Orifice Fitting. By measuring the pressure drop as flow moves through the Daniel Senior Orifice Fitting, and using the pressure drop (differential pressure) one can calculate the flow through the fittings using a universal accepted equation. The Daniel Senior Orifice Fitting is composed of two independent chambers separated by a hardened stainless steel slide valve. The dual chamber design of the Daniel Senior Orifice Fitting allows for the inspection and/or the replacement of orifice plates under line pressure without flow interruption. Use of the Daniel Senior Orifice Fitting can eliminate the need for by-pass piping, valves and other fittings necessary with conventional orifice flange installations. Maintenance Technicians can replace and repair all parts of the Daniel Senior Orifice Fitting, including the essential slide valve assembly, without moving the fitting from the line. All Daniel Senior Orifice Fittings are designed and manufactured to meet or exceed the A.G.A. 2000 recommendations, and some are in accordance with ANSI flange connections specifications, ASTM specifications, ASME specifications and IOS 5167 specifications.
