Specific Purpose: To inform the audience of what a cruise vacation is like.
Attention getter: Have you been on a vacation where it was just you and the sea. Where you can have access to endless buffets around the clock? Where you can see different places in a short amount of time?
Thesis Statement: Taking a cruise vacation is an exciting way to travel.
Overview: There are so many different things you can do on a cruise ship. You can relax by the pool, do different activities, dress up for shows or you can just enjoy the buffets and bars that they have.
Transition: Let 's talk about what a typical cruise ship has.
I. Here is a photo of the Allure of the Seas provided by (Royal Caribbean International). A. According to Scholastics Book of World Records, "The Allure of the Seas" is the largest ship in the world. 1. It weighs 225,282 gross tons with over 2500 staterooms that can accommodate 5400 guest. (Scholastics Book of World Records) B. When it comes to food on this ship you have 25 different places to eat at. 1. Three dining rooms, 15 buffet areas scattered across the ship, and the rest are fee based restaurants which includes Park Cafe, Italian Restaurant, Sushi Bar, Brazilian Restaurant, Steakhouse, Johnny 's Rocket Burger, and a Mexican restaurant. C. When it comes to entertainment they are plenty of places to chose from. 1. There are 5 pools, 5 hot tubs, zip line, carousel, rock climbing wall, mini golf, basketball court, comedy club, theatre, casino, jazz club, and surfing simulator. D. This ship is also divided into neighborhoods. 1. They are boardwalk, central park, Royal Promenade, Vitality Fitness and Spa, Sports Zone, Entertainment Place, and Solarium. (Royal Caribbean International).
Transition: Now cruise ships can take you to different destinations around the world.
II. When you take a cruise vacation you have options of what destination you might want to take. A. Princess Cruise Line has cruise destinations to Europe,

    The boarding of cruise ships takes as long as boarding an airplane. First, my father and I had to check in and then go to a boarding area. Then, we had to go through customs and check our luggage that was not seen again until we arrived at our cabin, where it was waiting for us.
