When my older brother left for college, I became the oldest sibling in my home. This meant that my younger siblings were looked up to me even more, which in turn implored me to be a positive role model in their life. I support my siblings by helping them to get to school on time, helping them to complete their homework, and encouraging them to participate in sports which will help them become team players and teach them the importance of staying healthy and having fun, In addition to being a leader to my siblings, I am also a link crew leader for incoming freshman for Memorial High School. We help the students understand the importance of getting good grades and how activities can impact their high school career. We also help them with the transition from middle school because it is very important that they make bonds and relationships that will help when they have questions about the school in the future. In addition to my leadership skills, I am a member of Student Voice. In Student Voice, we discuss problems around our school and we work to find solutions. In this group, being a leader is important because you are explaining from a student point of that the problems are within the hallways. Being a leader contributes to giving ideas to help to help our school become a better learning
