Case Study: Overcoming Obstacles
1. At the end of the first scene, Rocky was not capable of reaching his goal of becoming heavyweight champion because he wasn't physically fit enough to fight. Throughout the majority of his jog/run, he was breathing heavily as if he was trying to catch his breath, which can be considered a sign of lack of physical fitness, it was especially apparent towards the end of the clip, when Rocky was going up and down the staircase with immense difficulty. In order for Rocky to be able to reach his goal of becoming heavyweight champion, he had to get into better shape as well as take into account the four steps of management (planning, organizing, and leading, controlling) when getting himself ready for the fight.
