Interview a person you feel comfortable asking about their personality and attitudes.
Submit your Interview Profile. You must choose a person who is close to your own age, and interview that person to learn more about them. In addition to the interview, compare and contrast the responses from your interview with your own responses to the same question. You must report your findings in an informative 1,400- to 1,750-word paper, and include the following elements:

The subject I chose for my interview is one of my best friends, Jonathan Manrique. We work together in elementary school. Jonathan comes from a small family; he is one of five children in the family and only has one close relative in the United States. Jonathan is American but lived most of his life in Venezuela (since he was 2 years old) until 5 years ago when he moved back and is 32 years old. Jonathan graduated in Business Administration in Venezuela and took classes to become teacher when he moved back to 2 United States. He works for one of the biggest school district in Houston Texas. He would probably be considered middle class. Jonathan is an extremely smart and independent. I think he is a very interested interviewee. Does the interviewee remember information more accurately if he or she observes the behavior being performed or does he or she prefer to read how the behavior is performed?

Jonathan prefers to observe as he is very visual and feels he can focus more when actually participating in a dialog versus reading about the subject. He prefers watching sports, history or documentaries and other educational programs rather than reading about the subjects. Jonathan loves to talk about his culture and costumes and express his appreciation for Latin culture. He enjoys history and finds that his favorite movies are

The subject of my interview is Rob Reyes. He has been our next door neighbor since we moved here to Indio six months ago. He is a second generation Filipino-American that was born in America and has lived in California all of his life. Rob is 26 years old and has been married to his wife Sandra, 27, for 2 years. They don’t have any children, but do plan on having some once they save more money and the economy gets better. They are not rushing it because they have 3 dogs that are their “kids” for the time being, plus they like having their friends over on Friday nights for poker and social drinks. Rob is a technician for Time Warner Cable and has been employed with them for 7 years. His wife Sandra works at a doctor’s office in Palm Springs 30 miles away, so both of them are gone most of the day and we only see them in the evening when they are home from work.…

Abstract The aim of my research was to study automatic processes by replicating the previously carried out Stroop effect. The participants, 20 Richmond College students (10 boys and 10 girls) chosen by an opportunistic sample were taken into a quiet room separately, were presented with 6 lists of words, out of which 3 were congruent and the other 3 incongruent and the time taken for each participant to name the colour that the words were written in was measured and recorded. From this repeated measures design, the results were that participants took a considerably longer to name the colour in the incongruent words than the congruent words. This corresponded to earlier research carried out by Stroop and the results were highly significant to a 5% significance level and a critical value of 60.…

Multiculturalism is described as “the practice of giving equal emphasis to the needs and contributions of all cultural groups especially traditionally underrepresented minority groups in a society” (Webster’s, 2003).
